About This Site

Hibiscus Studio was founded in 2002 by Jennifer Serwer as an art and design practice. This San Francisco studio’s work springs from a diversity interests, and is inspired by how we live with and in our cultural, natural and phenomenal habitat.

The studio’s process explores a variety of materials and methods. It practices resourcefulness, lightness, observation, curiosity, and integrity.
